When and where will AI Fest 2026 take place?
The event will be held in August 2026 in Iloilo Convention Center, Megaworld Blvd, Mandurriao, Iloilo City, Iloilo. Specific venues and dates for each activity will be announced soon through our official channels.

What is AI Technical Conference?
The AI Technical Conference serves as a collaborative platform for researchers, academic institutions, government, and industry professionals to converge and discuss the practical and ethical applications for Artificial Intelligence.
What is AI Hackathon?
The AI Hackathon is a national competition for students, developers, researchers, and tech enthusiasts to explore the practical applications of artificial intelligence through guided problem-solving and innovation. Through mentorship, teamwork, and hands-on prototyping, participants will enhance their technical skills, develop AI-enabled solutions, and gain valuable experience in applying AI technologies to real-world challenges.
What is SineAI?
SineAI is a showcase of short films created using a range of AI tools, highlighting how emerging technologies are reshaping the creative process. It is supported by two pre-event activities: the SineAI Talks and the SineAI Workshop. These activities are designed to spark dialogue, build skills, and encourage the responsible use of AI in the creative industry.
The SineAI Talks is a gathering that brings together stakeholders from the creative community, including independent, professional, and student filmmakers, film enthusiasts, animators, and artists. The session provides a space to exchange ideas and explore the evolving landscape, key issues, emerging trends, and the impact of AI in the creative industry.
The SineAI Workshops are a series of hands-on sessions focused on the ethical and creative use of AI in filmmaking. Ten teams will participate in guided learning sessions that introduce practical AI tools and techniques for storytelling and production.
The short films produced by the participating teams will be showcased to the public and evaluated on August 3, 2026, in a local cinema. The winning entries of the 2026 AI Fest SineAI will be announced and awarded during the 2026 AI Fest Closing Ceremonies on August 5, 2026.
What is AI Connect?
The AI Connect is a seminar that will introduce useful AI tools for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to drive their innovation and improve their productivity and competitiveness.
What is AI Game On?
AI Game On! is an innovative AI Game Jam themed “Giving Our History a New Heartbeat through the Intelligence of Tomorrow.” This event challenges participants to merge cultural heritage with cutting-edge technology.
The core twist requires every game to feature a “Hidden Heritage Artifact”—a secret in-game item that, when discovered, unlocks real-world historical facts on a digital portal.
By integrating AI into the development process and gameplay, teams will transform local history into an interactive “Digital Museum,” ensuring that the stories of our past continue to resonate in the future.
What is AI in Motion?
AI in Motion is robotics workshop and competition activity that aims to showcase AI and robotics in action. It is composed virtual workshop sessions on AI fundamentals, robotics, and hardware integration for industry solutions, building prototypes to address real-world problems, evaluated by experts, and robotics exhibition.
What is AI Policy Lab?
The activity is a structured and gamified policy co-creation workshop involving representatives from marginalized sectors. Grounded in the principle of “nothing about us without us,” the workshop is designed to be fully accessible — using oral, visual, and dialect-friendly formats — so that lived experience, not academic background, is the primary qualification for participation.
What is AI Speaks?
AI Speaks is a seminar among business, government, and technology leaders to discuss how organizations in Western Visayas can move beyond digitalization and toward responsible, competitive, and actionable AI adoption. Designed for business executives and decision-makers, the program surfaces national direction, governance priorities, and enterprise implications through concise framing inputs and fast-paced moderated panels.

The PGDX Iloilo – AI Expo is a three-day showcase of cutting-edge AI products and innovations from researchers, startups, and global companies.
