The outputs created by the participating teams will be showcased to the public and evaluated on 03 August 2026 at the Iloilo Convention Center.

For Virtual Sessions

Any interested individuals are free to join the virtual learning sessions.

For Workshop Competition

Eligible participating teams must meet the following criteria:

1. Must be composed of 3-5 bonafide college students of the same Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Western Visayas for the academic year 2026-2027.

2. Have one (1) designated Faculty Mentor from the same institution to provide technical and academic oversight.

3. Have an established team name for identification.

4. Participants of each team should have knowledge on the following:

  • Programming: Mastery of control flow (loops, conditionals), data structures, and functional programming (i.e Python).
  • Electronics: Basic understanding of microcontrollers (Arduino/ESP32) and PWM signals. Basic knowledge of serial communication and wiring logic.
  • AI: Conceptual knowledge of Machine Learning

Yes. Each institution may send more than one (1) participating team.

Successful online registration.

Registration is open from until 12 June 2026

1. Problem Statement:  The industry problem to be addressed.

2. Technical Solution Design: The technical solution that utilizes AI and Robotics Technology based on the provided hardware specifications.

3. Potential Outcome of the Solutions

1. Interested participants may register until 12 June 2026.

2. Participants will attend the AI for Robotics Virtual Learning Series via Zoom.

3. Participants will be required to finalize and submit their Concept Proposal on or before 3 July 2026.

4. Concept proposals will be evaluated, and only six (6) teams will be selected to advance to the next level. The announcement of qualifying teams will be on 10 July 2026.

5. The shortlisted teams will undergo in-person hands-on sessions.

6. The teams will then present their solutions for judging on 03 August 2026 at the Iloilo Convention Center.

7. Winning teams will be awarded on 05 August 2026 during the closing ceremonies of the 2026 AI Fest.
