Synopsis

A single unbroken camera flight along one Philippine shoreline reveals that past and present are not separate places, but neighboring stretches of the same sand. As the film glides from a quiet modern village toward a war-era coast, an old woman's trembling hand taps out a fading rhythm — the last trace of a love story that once unfolded on these same shores: a young woman rowing to meet a watchman across the strait, their reunion, and the storm that tears them apart. Without dialogue, told only through light, texture, and motion, the film moves seamlessly between eras until past and present visibly overlap in a single frame — a boat, a child, a rhythm — proving that some things never truly leave the shore where they began.
